Good to Great: Management Essentials Training is a 6-week, in-person leadership development series designed for new and emerging managers who want practical, real-world tools for leading people effectively. The LA Metro Chamber of Commerce is pleased to work with Insightful Workplace Solutions to bring you this program, which builds confidence and foundational management skills through interactive learning, reflection, and peer discussion.

Participants will gain tools to communicate clearly, build trust, coach performance, handle conflict, solve problems, and manage time and delegation — skills essential for today’s workplace.

  • March 25 – Shifting from Peer to Supervisor
    Navigate the transition into management with confidence while establishing credibility, boundaries, and trust.

  • April 1 – Building Trust and Credibility as a Manager 
    Learn how to foster trust-based relationships that strengthen engagement, collaboration, and accountability.

  • April 8 – Clear and Connected Communication
    Practice clear, direct communication, active listening, and feedback strategies that motivate action.

  • April 15 – Coaching for Talent and Performance Development
    Develop practical coaching skills to support growth, set goals, and improve performance.

  • April 22 – Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving
    Apply structured approaches to decision-making, problem analysis, and solution development.

    April 29 – Time Management & Delegation
    Learn how to prioritize effectively, delegate with clarity, and create space for strategic leadership.

About the Instructor

This program is facilitated by Tisha Bremner, founder of Insightful Workplace Solutions, a leadership development and professional learning firm that partners with organizations to strengthen leadership capacity, communication, and workplace culture.
